No Name

In 1966 Kirk Graves was 15 years old. It was August and the days were sunny and warm. Kirk was
sleeping overnight at a friend named Mike who lived in the Issaquah valley just off Issaquah-Hobart
Road. The two boys were begging Mikes mom to let them sleep out in the woods. She would not allow it
until the would-be kidnaper of the 12-year-old Adam was found. Adam’s house was less than one block
away. Adam had been missing for 5 days. They brought Search Dogs from Seattle and Tacoma to search
for Adam. With no scent around, they assumed kidnapping but there was no ransom note or call.
Mike and Kirk complained so bad to Mikes mom that she finally crumbled and let the boy’s sleep out.
There was a clearing on the other side of the creek that was at the base of Squawk Mountain. This is
where the boy’s laid there sleeping bags and stuff to munch on.
While gazing into the stars and eating candy bars the boys were startled by the light that was coming
from a clear patch on the Mountain about 500 yards away. It was lit up brighter than a football field. To
the boy’s surprise, they saw the UFO just sitting there. Without making any noise the craft lifted straight
up into the air, about 20 yards off the ground. And then moved directly over the boy’s before coming to
a stop in the air without making a sound. Kirk looked at mike and before he could say anything Mike
said, yes, I see it. Then without making a sound, the craft took off. It was out of the boy’s sight in 2 to 3
seconds.
Mike and Kirk were hiking to the vary spot where the craft was landed to see what they could find. The
boys came upon Blackberry Bushes everywhere. They had no choice but to crawl through them in their
shorts. After finally getting to the clearing, bleeding from all the sticker scrapes Kirk noticed a man
walking in the moonlight at the other end of the clearing. Scared and shaking the boys were approached
by the being. It was 12-year-old Adam, the missing boy. Knowing the boys would be instant heroes, they
could not wait to get Adam home.
Kirk had Adam by the shoulder pulling him as they walked. Adam kept resting and finally stopped and
sat down. He was crying a little as he said. You guys got to stop pulling me and listen. Adam went on to
say he was in that UFO that brought him here. Then he told where he had been. Atlantis, yes Adam said
he was in Atlantis. He then told the boy’s why he had to tell them this stuff right now. The Atlanteans
are so advanced with their brain power because they can use all of it. Adam talked for over one hour. At
the beginning of his talk Adam said that once he got more than 50 yards from this spot that he would
not be able to remember anything. They have the power to program Adam's brain to lose everything.
Adam started shivering as he talked. The Boy’s decided to get Adam home. Be sides they were going to
be heroes. After going back through the stickers, the rest was easy. Soon they were walking up Adam's
driveway at 2 am. The boy’s started hollering at the house that they found Adam. Soon all the lights
came on and his parents came out crying with happiness. It was not long before the Sheriff and the
Press were there.
Adam told a story how he was lost in the woods for days. Kirk looked at Adam and said, tell them you
were in Atlantis and they brought you here in their UFO, I saw it, said Kirk. The room went silent. Adam
was so surprised at what Kirk had said. Adam looked straight into Kirk’s eyes saying, I was lost in the
Woods. Then Kirk realized what Adam told him earlier. When I get more than 50 yards from here, I will

not remember. Kirk turned to Mike. Tell them what we saw. Mike denied everything. Mike thought he
would be labeled a nut case, so he denied everything.
